Your early pledge will help us have the strongest possible launch! We are offering an ADORABLE "Cold Soup" sticker for Day One physical tier backers (you have 6 hours or so left for that milestone) , as well as super-limited early bird tiers with volumes 2 & 3 of Elsewhere at a discount!

Thank you so much!!

over 2 years ago – Wed, Sep 01, 2021 at 03:56:55 PM

Hey guys!! All rewards have shipped EXCEPT for hardcovers and about 10 Founder's Editions - The printer made a mistake and did not send us enough copies! :( The 25 remaining orders should hopefully go out in a week or two as soon as we get the rewards in-hand. :)

Thank you all so much, and we hope you love the book!

BackerKit surveys are coming!
almost 3 years ago – Sat, Jul 17, 2021 at 04:13:02 AM

Hey guys!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR A GREAT CAMPAIGN!!

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://hotbrass.backerkit.com/.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://hotbrass.backerkit.com/faq.

Thanks again, Johnny P

Do you hear that thunder? That's the sound of strength in numbers.*

Hey gang, this is John the writer. I've been off grid (literally camping in the woods) for a while and haven't had a keyboard 'pon which to type this note, but I am SO happy to type it!

t h a n k  y o u  f o r  t h i s!

It is always thrilling when a couple people put big money in the high-dollar reward tiers of a Kickstarter, but I have to admit I like this kind of campaign a lot.

What we see here is a project asking for a modest amount, and bringing in a lot of backers who are pledging what they can. As I type, we have about $2100 and 85 backers. That means lots of people are spending what they can afford (like $25-35 -- like getting a couple pizzas delivered, like buying a friend a beer and some nachos, like a trip to the local comix shop on NCBD), and that makes me very proud.

Thank you. All of you. And you, too.

If you're a fan of the Surgeon, I hope you'll find the change of pace refreshing. If you know my stuff from Up from the Skies, I hope you can handle a much louder and faster comic. If you're one of the like 18 people who know Joe and me from our work on the Ballad of Brighid of Atlanta, I think you'll know exactly what to expect if you throw in about 500 more jokes per page.

Thank you again and again. Feel free to tell your friends, and if you know any reviewers / bloggers / podcasters / livestreamers who might do a review, send them my way! ([email protected])

As the man once said, excelsior.
